Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead nationwide analytics initiatives. The role collaborates with senior consultants, producers, and benefits teams to deliver data‑driven insights for underwriting, renewals, funding analyses, and strategic client decisions.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of experience, strong analytical and consultative skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution‑development skills
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide data analytics activities for IOA Benefits Group, including data collection, analysis, and client consultation
• Support underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic client decisions
• Deliver data‑driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends, and program performance
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness
• Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Account Teams to support client objectives
• Maintain clear communication of analytical findings and recommendations
• Provide analytical guidance and knowledge sharing for team development
• Stay updated on underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, and market trends
• Ensure adherence to policies and industry standards
• Demonstrate IOA values in all interactions
