Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead national analytics initiatives, gather and interpret underwriting, claims, and financial data, and deliver client-ready insights that inform underwriting, renewals, and funding decisions.

You will collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to deliver dashboards, reports, and strategic analyses that promote operational excellence and client outcomes on a national

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision-making.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Partner with Producers and Benefits teams by providing analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices to improve consistency and results.
