Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead data analytics activities on a national scale. The role collaborates with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, and Benefits teams to drive underwriting evaluations, renewal negotiations, and strategic client decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience, a strong foundation in underwriting and financial analytics, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools.
• Experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to interpret complex data for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Deliver data-driven insights to help clients understand risks and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development.
• Create reports and dashboards communicating complex information clearly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze trends and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Senior Analysts, Producers, and Account Teams to meet client objectives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing to support team development.
