Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to lead and support data analytics on a national scale. This role collaborates with senior consultants, producers and benefits teams to deliver insight for underwriting, renewal negotiations, funding analyses and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of analytics experience, strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of underwriting data and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as stated or equivalent in a related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating, funding arrangements, pricing tools and risk assessment.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data‑driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support pricing and funding decisions.
• Deliver data‑driven insights to help clients understand risks, trends and program performance.
• Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate complex information.
• Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, standards, and best practices.
