Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits to drive data analytics on a national scale. You will collect, analyze, and present underwriting, claims, and financial data to inform client decisions, renewals, and funding analyses, partnering with senior consultants, producers, and benefits teams.

This remote role supports clients across Eastern Time and Florida, with on-site possibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles.
• Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Data Analytics & Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy.
• Underwriting Support: Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
• Client Consulting: Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
• Sales Support: Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation Development: Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
• Analytics Process Management: Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
• Technology Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze trends and financial metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Process Improvement: Implement improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication of analytical findings and recommendations.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide analytical guidance and support team development.
• Technical Expertise: Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, and industry trends.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
