Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager to drive sales for a new NT1 therapy in a virtual U.S. territory.

You will educate healthcare providers, implement strategic plans, and build relationships with sleep specialists and key accounts to generate demand post-approval. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; BS/BA.
• 3+ years selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience; OR 2+ years of selling experience at Takeda.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to navigate complex selling environment and influence across decision makers in key accounts.
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated territory planning, strategic account management and prioritization skills.
• Understanding of payer access and reimbursement at territory, regional, and state levels.
• Must reside within the territory or within close proximity to assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and territory growth through execution of sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate HCPs and improve patient access.
• Implement sales plans and use approved materials to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
• Build relationships with sleep specialists and other neuroscience/respiratory specialists.
• Analyze local and regional trends to tailor regional and local strategies.
• Document account plans and post-call activities using CRM.
• Manage territory budget in line with Takeda policies.
