Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for North America to lead a team of technical specialists in ruminant health. You will guide strategy, support customers, and drive science-based growth across probiotics, enzymes, and silage solutions.

The role demands a PhD or equivalent, 8+ years in animal nutrition/health, and 5+ years of leadership. Travel up to 50% and collaboration across functions are expected.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and ensure delivery of technical expertise across probiotic, enzyme, feed additive, and silage solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customers, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders; translate science into measurable customer value.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Product teams.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations; monitor industry trends and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
