Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service for Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and translate science into measurable customer value across probiotics, enzymes, feed additives, and silage solutions.

This high‑impact role partners with Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory and Innovation teams, travels up to 50% domestically, and requires a PhD, DVM or related field with 8+ years in animal nutrition and 5+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in animal nutrition/health/technical services/research/consulting.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Specialists and SMEs.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Management, and Innovation teams to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex technical challenges.
• Engage directly with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Support product launches, technical positioning, customer education, and scientific communications.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences, customer events, and professional associations.
