Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager of Multimedia Development to lead a remote team tasked with creating engaging graphics, animations, audio, and video for K-12 learning. You will ensure multimedia aligns with instructional goals and accessibility standards while coordinating with curriculum, product, and external partners.

The role combines people leadership with project execution, emphasizing timely delivery, innovation, and leveraging AI and automation where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education, curriculum, or similar area preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of multimedia, graphics, or animation development experience, with assets to support asynchronous virtual learning preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a team and meet deadlines with detail-oriented, high-quality output.
• Advanced knowledge of education management systems, LMS, and CMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of multimedia developers and foster career growth.
• Coordinate with curriculum development management, product development, and agile teams.
• Refine curriculum development features, validate MVP concepts, and align with partner needs.
• Direct internal and vendor multimedia teams to Pearson’s standards and requirements.
