Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer focused on MQ to support our mainframe clients in the United States. The role emphasizes hands-on MQ and CICS TS expertise, installation, maintenance, and proactive problem solving across multiple time zones.

You will work 24x7 on-call, participate in migrations, upgrades, DR testing, and adhere to ITSM change control. The position offers remote work with occasional onsite, a strong pay scale, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform including hands-on installation and maintenance of products related to CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough working knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring including OEM products.
• Thorough working knowledge of IBM’s SMP/E. Strong analytical skills for CICS TS.
• Thorough working knowledge of tools to monitor performance of CICS TS regions.
• Able to multi-task and work under short deadlines in high pressure situations.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication; able to work in a team or independently.
• Standard Working Hours: Shift 8AM-5PM Local time; On-call, overtime and weekends required.

• Provide premium support for MQ software products for mainframe z/OS customers.
• Provide primary support for MQ-related problems and customer service orders.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures for MQ installation according to best practices and Ensono standards.
• Assist with preparing customer partitions for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations and transition projects pertaining to MQ.
• Coordinate with Disaster Recovery Services for DR plans.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures and implement vendor fixes.
• Upgrade, maintain, and enhance z/OS products as needed.
