Motorola Solutions in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer to craft high-impact visual stories showcasing our mission-critical technology, from 3D device reveals to cinematic brand films. You'll be a 60/40 hybrid, blending motion design and video editing, collaborating with product experts and marketers to deliver assets that feel authentic and align with brand guidelines.

The role requires a strong reel demonstrating advanced motion graphics, experience with After Effects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Digital Media, Communication, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in post-production, agency, or high-end in-house creative dept.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects; UI/UX animation and 3D integration.
• Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender for hardware asset animation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into visual storytelling and create engaging motion graphics.
• Edit videos with a strong emotional narrative arc from unscripted b-roll or scripts.
• Ensure consistency with MSI video/brand guidelines and collaborate with teammates.
• Curate stories using real people and sensitive material to maintain authenticity.
• Demonstrate pacing/rhythm to build tension and guide viewer emotion.
• Develop concepts with storyboards and contribute creative leadership.
