Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Origination Supervisor to lead a small team and ensure timely processing, underwriting, and closing of loans. You will build referral networks with brokers and builders and collaborate across U.S.

Bank Home Mortgage for growth in customer relationships and cross-sales. The role requires NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z, with background and credit checks. On-site three days a week is required if located near a U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities related to mortgage loan origination for a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner from sources.
• Establish referral source relationships to maintain steady loan volume from real estate brokers, builders and other external sources.
• Participate in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder associations and stay current on mortgage industry issues.
• Recruit new talent and support employee development and engagement.
