Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Sales Supervisor to oversee a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators. The role focuses on meeting annual loan origination goals, securing timely documents, and cultivating referral sources from real estate professionals and builders.

You will collaborate with Home Mortgage and other lines to grow customer relationships and drive cross-sell opportunities. The position requires NMLS registration and compliance with SAFE Act and Regulation Z, including background

Qualifications

• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience
• Ability to recruit and develop mortgage loan originators
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA underwriting basics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to perform duties outside of regular workplace

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting and closing are secured timely
• Meet loan origination volume goals established annually
• Develop referral sources from real estate brokers, builders and other external sources
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow customer relationships and cross-sell
• Interview and recruit new talent and retain employees through development and engagement
