Capital Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for a 100% remote role. The Processor will work with loan originators to process mortgage loans, verify information, and collect documents for underwriting to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Applicants should have recent mortgage industry experience, familiarity with conventional, FHA, and VA loans, and strong communication and customer service skills. The position supports our nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Experience with mortgage lending terminology and processes.

Responsabilités

• Calculates principal, interest and closing cost amounts and notifies the borrower accordingly.
• Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and clarifying/obtaining additional information.
• Confirms mortgage loan application information by corresponding with verification sources.
• Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit reports, land surveys, appraisals, titles and related information.
• Identifies mortgage loan application/documentation problems and notifies underwriter/supervisor.
• Discloses new loans, issues COC's and completes the loan setup function.
