Job summary

DevNW seeks a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor and Servicing Specialist to move loans from application through funding and servicing. This full-time, fixed-term role is remote/hybrid, based out of Springfield, OR, funded for two years, with a 5% bilingual differential for Spanish speakers.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan files, collecting borrower data, coordinating third-party services, entering data, and ensuring compliance while protecting borrower confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years administrative experience; loan processing/servicing preferred.
• Experience with databases and loan systems.
• Experience maintaining detailed files and documentation.
• Familiarity with mortgage lending or loan servicing.
• Experience reviewing income, assets, credit, or collateral documentation.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.
• Excel proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files for completeness and program compliance.
• Collect borrower and loan information.
• Identify missing/incorrect data and follow up.
• Support Loan Officers and Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Coordinate third-party services (appraisals, verifications).
• Enter and maintain loan data in servicing systems.
• Manage loan documents, payments, escrow, payoffs, and correspondence.
• Investigate discrepancies in loan/servicing records.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
• Support quality control reviews and audits.
• Collaborate with Finance, Underwriting, and program staff.
• Protect confidentiality and security of borrower information.
• Provide general administrative support to the Homeownership team.
