Job summary

Northwest Bancshares is seeking a Senior Virtual Loan Processor to handle residential mortgage and equity loan processing from application submission through closing. The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in residential lending, with strong knowledge of conventional and government loan programs and active NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years in residential lending industry experience.
• 3–5 years of mortgage/equity loan processing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of conventional and government loan products (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA, VA).

Responsibilities

• Manage loan process from application submission to closing.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for verifications, appraisals, title work, and reports.
• Ensure loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with policies and regulations.
• Interact with borrowers to gather documents and explain loan terms.
• Maintain accurate data in the loan origination system and manage pipeline for timely closings.
