Job summary

Granite Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to join our remote team. You will manage loan applications from initiation to closing, verify information, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate between borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of loan processing experience in a mortgage setting.
• Experience with proactive problem solving and resolving customer complaints.
• Experience independently driving workload and meeting set expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative, customer support and operational processes on home loan applications, including communicating with customers and third parties to obtain missing information and documentation.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with regular updates to customers for a consistent, predictable experience.
• Perform transaction review of home loan applications.
• Review documentation and obtain missing information.
• Prepare loans for underwriting review and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Prioritize and manage the assigned pipeline to meet anticipated closing dates and metrics.
• Act as an escalation point for Loan Officers to resolve issues and provide guidance and training.
• Collaborate with peers, partners and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
