Job summary

Zillow Home Loans, part of Zillow Group's FinTech division, is seeking a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to originate home loans for borrowers within Zillow's ecosystem. You will guide borrowers from first contact through funding in a structured, metrics-driven environment, with remote work restrictions and opportunities to work from a company office.

Base pay is complemented by incentive compensation and potential equity awards, with eligibility contingent on location and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with focus on purchase transactions.
• Completion of CORE Pre-Licensing Education and SAFE Mortgage LO Test.
• Physically located in and working remotely from West Virginia.
• Proven success in high-volume or agent-centric models.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Convert opportunities into funded loans through follow-up and consultation.
• Build relationships with customers and local partners.
• Manage an active pipeline meeting service levels and funding expectations.
• Leverage CRM, LOS, and data-driven tools to monitor pipeline health.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams.
• Deliver high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text.
• Stay current on market trends, lending programs, and regulations.
• Maintain licensing and pursue ongoing professional development.
