Job summary

Fulton Bank, N.A. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer - Outside Sales. This remote, commissioned role can be based out of Hampton Roads or Central VA.

You will work with prospective customers to identify and secure a mortgage loan suitable to their financial goals, including home ownership, primarily outside Fulton office locations. The position emphasizes building relationships with realtors, builders, attorneys, and other referral sources; you will collect financial information, advise on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in residential mortgage lending in the local market.
• 1+ years proven ability to develop referral sources outside the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands referral sources to solicit first mortgages and maintain origination volume.
• Collects and analyzes applicant information to determine loan eligibility and advise on options.
• Engages in sales activity to attract customers to Fulton Mortgage Company.
• Ensures loan documentation, compliance, and communication with all parties throughout the process.
