This role supports loan officers from application to closing, with a focus on documentation, pre-approvals, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position requires at least 1 year in mortgage support, an NMLS license (or ability to obtain), and experience with loan origination tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or Sales Assistant (Loan Officer Assistant).
• Active NMLS license or ability to acquire within 90 days of hire.
• Experience using LOS, Meridian Link, Blend and/or Google Suite required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote startup environment.
• Team player and communicator delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Gather required documentation to complete loan applications.
• Help borrowers become pre-approved for the Knock Bridge Loan.
• Manage 200+ loan applications per month per loan officer.
• Ensure submission requirements are met before disclosures.
• Follow up on disclosed loans to ensure timely signatures.
• Assist Loan Officers and Loan Assistants with borrower requests.
• Assign new loan files to Loan Officers.
