Job summary

Knock is a remote-first company redefining home financing, seeking a Loan Assistant to support the customer journey from application to funding. You will help with documentation, disclosures, and timely closings while upholding exceptional customer service.

This fully remote role requires 1+ year(s) in mortgage ops, an NMLS license within 90 days if not already held, and comfort with a distributed national team. Salary is disclosed in the posting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of mortgage operations and/or processing experience.
• Experience using a LOS, Blend and/or Google Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather required documentation to submit loan files for processing/underwriting.
• Obtain Initial Closing Disclosure signatures to meet on-time closings.
• Manage a pipeline with 30 loan closings per month.
• Disclose and revise Loan Estimates within 24-48 hours of receiving loan info.
• Support team with borrower requests and ensure responsive communication.
