Job summary

Knock is hiring a Remote Loan Assistant to support the customer journey from application to funding. You will present Knock’s products and programs, help guide borrowers, and ensure smooth closings in a fully remote environment across the U.S.

Requirements include 1+ year mortgage ops/processing experience, an active or rapidly deployable NMLS license, and proficiency with LOS, Blend, and Google Suite. Strong communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in mortgage operations or processing.
• Active NMLS license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Familiar with LOS, Blend and Google Suite.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather documentation to submit loan files for processing/underwriting.
• Manage pipeline with ~30 loan closings per month.
• Complete Patriot Act checks on customers.
• Ensure required documents are collected before submitting to processing.
• Assist borrowers and internal teammates as needed.
• Disclose loan estimates within 24–48 hours of receiving loan.
• Review condo document requirements and documents for completion.
• Provide excellent customer service and work autonomously.
