Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Home Loan Advisor - External to originate mortgage loans through self-sourced business and relationships. You will discuss product options by phone, email, or in person, assist with selections, disclosures, and lock requests, and analyze financial data to identify underwriting concerns.

You will manage the loan pipeline, ensure timely processing, and maintain clear communication with applicants.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsabilités

Originate mortgage loans from self-sourced business and personal relationships by maintaining exceptional service levels.
Discuss mortgage product options via phone, email or in person with borrowers.
Assist member with product selection, lock requests and disclosures as required by law.
Obtain and analyze financial and credit data; assess mortgage applications for underwriting concerns.
Maintain understanding of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance (RESPA, HPML, HOEPA, ATR/QM).
Manage mortgage loan pipeline to ensure timely, accurate processing.
Oversee loan process from origination to close with ongoing applicant communication.
Coordinate with mortgage resource center and operations to move loans forward.
Notate conversations in LOS to ensure proper communication.
