Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado seeks an External Mortgage Loan Officer to generate mortgage production through proactive outside sales and strong referral partnerships. You’ll guide applicants through the process with Mortgage Operations, from consultation to closing, leveraging community connections.

Required is a high school diploma and at least two years in mortgage lending; a built network of realtors and builders is a plus. Hybrid remote work options and bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years mortgage lending experience.
• Existing referral network in local market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with external partners to grow production.
• Promote CUofCO mortgage products through field visits and community engagement.
• Develop and deepen borrower relationships to drive referrals and production.
• Represent CUofCO at community events to boost brand and opportunities.
• Meet minimum production: $500,000 or 3 closed-end units per month after 3 months.
• Guide members through complete mortgage applications and disclosures with LOS.
