Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado seeks an External Mortgage Loan Officer to drive production through outside sales and strong partner networks. You will guide applicants from initial consultation to closing in collaboration with Mortgage Operations.

The role requires mortgage lending experience, field activity, and the ability to manage complex files while ensuring compliance with TRID, HMDA, RESPA, and ECOA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of self-generated mortgage production.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and regulatory disclosures.
• Experience with LOS and CRM platforms.
• Two years mortgage lending experience; existing referral network preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, strengthen, and maintain referral relationships with external partners to grow self-generated mortgage production.
• Promote CUofCO’s mortgage products through field visits, networking, and community engagement.
• Maintain relationships with borrowers to drive referrals and production.
• Represent CUofCO at community events to increase brand visibility and business development.
