Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in a mortgage-related function with at least two years self-sourced.
• Strong service orientation and ability to analyze credit and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans from self-sourced relationships with high service standards.
• Assist members with product selection, lock requests and disclosures as required by law.
• Obtain and analyze financial data and assess underwriting concerns early.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable lending laws and credit union policies.
• Manage mortgage pipeline to provide timely, accurate service.
• Oversee process from origination to close with proactive communications.
• Collaborate with mortgage resource center and operations staff.
• Document conversations in the LOS for clear communication.
