Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Home Loan Processor to manage mortgage files from intake through underwriting. You will coordinate with Members, Home Loan Advisors, and vendors to ensure accurate processing and on-time delivery, while adhering to investor guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, with experience in DU findings, tax returns, and asset verification, and the ability to update the LOS system accordingly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mortgage lending experience, processing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with Members, Home Loan Advisors and Vendors for loan processing.
• Order and review title reports, flood certificates, appraisals; verify documents and request missing items.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal laws (BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID, AML).
• Review income, tax returns, and asset documentation; verify per investor guidelines and update LOS.
