Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in mortgage lending, relationship banking, or related sales role
• Demonstrated success in outside sales, business development, and relationship management
• Experience developing and managing relationships with clients and Centers of Influence (COIs)
• Strong consultative selling skills with ability to assess client needs and recommend financial solutions; proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and building a profitable pipeline
• Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products, home lending processes, and market trends

Responsibilities

• Builds, develops, and maintains profitable lending and deposit relationships with COIs and clients
• Consults with clients and prospects to understand their home lending and business goals
• Develops and promotes U.S. Bancorp products and services to meet client needs and grow loan portfolio
• Proactively deepens COI/client relationships by meeting needs through additional products and services
• References clients to other bank areas for ongoing requirements
• Represents the bank at civic and community functions to build brand and opportunities
• Partners with Consumer Direct MLO to meet sales objectives and exchange leads/referrals
• Conducts joint outside sales calls with bank partners at prospects' or customers' locations
• Develops and manages customized sales/marketing plans for each client
• Refer clients to branches for ongoing account maintenance
