U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans within an assigned territory, with emphasis on sales growth and client service. The role involves taking applications, performing preliminary underwriting, and coordinating with processing teams to move files toward approval.

The position supports a remote posting but requires onsite presence three days per week if located near a bank site. Some driving is expected as part of the role.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically at least one year of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience.
• Ability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Originates mortgage loans in an assigned metropolitan territory.
• Takes applications and conducts preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submits loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follows up to secure documents needed for processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Performs sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
