Job summary

First American is seeking a seasoned customer service specialist to establish and nurture relationships with Specialty Markets clients, delivering training and solving complex issues. You will analyze customer needs, prepare materials, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful outcomes.

Candidates should have 7+ years in mortgage or insurance customer service, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed. A background check will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of directly relevant work experience, mortgage or insurance industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and able to learn custom applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer training and demonstrations, often traveling to customer sites.
• Serve as liaison to offshore customer service operations and contribute to policies and procedures.
• Make recommendations to management on process improvements, product enhancements, and software viability from a customer perspective.
• Provide technical support through analysis of customer systems and troubleshooting.
• Participate in client meetings addressing escalations at loan, process and initiative levels.
• Create and refine customer-facing materials (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for clients.
• Maintain regular reporting on team and client activities and coordinate cross-department meetings.
