Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Baltimore, MD seeks a Molecular Sales Account Executive to lead sales of molecular lab tests, FISH Oncology Probe products, and related devices to hospital and reference labs. The role requires regional travel and building strong customer partnerships within the territory from Washington to Philadelphia.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in a laboratory setting, plus preferred Molecular/FISH experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with instrumentation utilized in a laboratory environment.
• Experience in Molecular or FISH Cytogenetic testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted partner to existing customers and drive revenue growth.
• Manage and develop molecular lab testing accounts and devices.
• Deliver technical product support and troubleshoot issues with customers.
• Coordinate orders, delivery, and billing with internal teams.
• Communicate customer feedback and resolutions to stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and adhere to safety guidelines.
