Defense Unicorns is seeking a Mission Director to own end-to-end new business within the Army market, driving opportunities from discovery to contract award. This role is remote and requires building trusted relationships with Mission Heroes, shaping solutions, and delivering outcomes across the contract lifecycle.

You will manage a portfolio, own a quota, and lead teams as needed, while ensuring cost, schedule, performance, staffing, margin, and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• Experience within PAE Fires/Maneuver Ground or a closely related defense environment.
• Strong commercial judgment and comfort owning revenue-generating activities.
• Experience in government program management, acquisition, contracting, or defense leadership.

• Identify and develop net-new Army opportunities and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Own a quota and grow a diversified portfolio of business.
• Define customer problems and shape solutions using Defense Unicorns products.
• Lead opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
• Serve as the program leader for new contracts you close, with responsibility for execution.
• Grow the portfolio and lead program managers as the portfolio expands.
