Job summary

MTtalent is seeking a Business Development Manager – Mining to drive growth across a US territory. This role blends technical insight with strategic sales, building relationships with mining customers and identifying new opportunities.

You will conduct site visits, provide technical evaluations, prepare quotes, and collaborate with engineering and support teams to deliver innovative mining solutions. Remote work is supported with regular travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or field service within mining/heavy industrial sectors.
• Experience with mineral processing operations, mining equipment, or related industrial products.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the US territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with existing mining customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Prospect and secure new accounts within the assigned territory.
• Conduct customer site visits, technical assessments, and equipment inspections.
• Provide technical recommendations and support product evaluations, demonstrations, and trials.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, technical reports, and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to deliver solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the organization professionally at customer meetings and industry events.
• Travel regularly to support customers and initiatives.
