Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. is seeking a Business Unit Sales Manager for Mining to drive growth in the mining sector through strategic account development, technical sales leadership, and strong customer relationships across mine sites, contractors, distributors and EPCM firms.

You will focus on expanding market share at existing mines and developing new opportunities, guiding regional teams, collaborating with product and marketing, and entering pricing negotiations to meet sales objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant sales, marketing, or product management experience.
• Current MSHA surface and underground certification preferred; willingness to obtain required.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing mining and distribution accounts and secure new business.
• Develop relationships with regional and national customers.
• Attend regional and state mining shows and seminars.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to grow sales.
• Input contacts into CRM and manage contracts.
• Lead mining sales and services staff within the region.
