PCR Consulting LLC is seeking an Associate of Deal Origination / Business Development to support growth of a middle market M&A advisory practice. You will work with inbound owner opportunities, identify and pursue prospective clients, and advance qualified opportunities toward signed sell-side engagements.

The role combines deal origination, business development, client qualification, and consultative sales.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in deal origination, business development, or client-facing advisory services.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with founders and C-suite executives.
• Excellent discovery, presentation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to assess transaction readiness and identify qualified opportunities.
• Exposure to M&A, investment banking, private equity, or professional services is a plus.

• Engage with inbound opportunities and support deal origination and early-stage advisory conversations.
• Understand company priorities, objectives, timing, valuation expectations, and decision criteria.
• Evaluate opportunity fit and communicate sell-side process and client experience.
• Build relationships with founders and senior executives through discovery and professional communication.
• Identify business needs and next steps to develop qualified opportunities.
• Advance opportunities through qualification, discussions, and engagement-letter execution.
• Maintain CRM notes, pipeline stages, forecasts, and deal origination activity.
