Job summary

PCR Consulting LLC is seeking a commercially driven Sales + Business Development professional to grow a middle-market M&A advisory practice by converting inbound opportunities into signed engagements.

You will work directly with founders and privately held business owners who are evaluating a sale or strategic alternatives, driving discovery, value articulation, and engagement progression in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in consultative B2B sales or professional advisory services.
• Ability to close complex, high-value engagements with multi-stakeholder decisions.
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with qualified inbound business owners exploring a sale or strategic transaction.
• Lead consultative discovery to understand owner objectives, timing, and valuation expectations.
• Assess transaction readiness and strategic fit for sell-side M&A advisory services.
• Present the firm’s process, capabilities, deliverables, and value proposition clearly.
• Build relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and C-suite executives throughout decisions.
• Move opportunities from initial contact to proposal discussions and signed engagements.
• Maintain CRM records, forecast pipeline, and keep follow-up activity current.
• Collaborate with senior bankers to transition new clients into execution.
