Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer focused on Capacity & Time Study. This remote role requires residing within 100 miles of Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Greenville, SC, Spartanburg, SC or El Paso, TX, with travel 50-75%.

You will collect cycle times, analyze data, and help build capacity models to drive productivity. The role supports on-floor manufacturing and collaborates with operations to ensure data accuracy and effective labor benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of two years in manufacturing operations, incl. internships/co-ops.
• Experience creating standard work and cycle time collection/analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Export controls require U.S. person status (citizen, green card, etc.).
• No relocation offered; remote within 100 miles of specified sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and cycle time observations across manufacturing processes.
• Record and validate manual and automated process times using standard IE methods.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability.
• Support development of standard work and labor benchmarks.
• Assist in building and maintaining capacity models.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare reports and visualizations summarizing findings and recommendations.
