Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Manager, Project Engineering to lead the Central Region project engineering team supporting Field Project Managed orders. Remote role with preference for near Eaton facilities in the region.

You will guide project engineers, manage workload, and drive process improvements while ensuring effective communication with Field Sales, customers, and Project Managers across the Central Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, customer service and/or project management/project engineering experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Relocation not available; reside within Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, or Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the technical team of Project Engineers in the Central Region.
• Ensure workload balance and training needs are addressed.
• Serve as escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Communicate with internal partners and external customers on pricing, configuration changes, and documentation packages.
• Promote Project Management capabilities to customers, distributors, and sales.
• Coordinate with Product lines to implement changes affecting order management.
• Identify process improvements and document revised processes.
