Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manager, Project Engineering for a remote role supporting the Central Region in the United States. You will lead Project Engineers, balance workloads, and drive process improvements across customers, field sales, and project managers.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and use of tools like Vista/SAP, Power BI, BidManager, and PM Hub to deliver Built-To-Order, Assembled-To-Order, and Engineered-To-Order projects. 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, customer service and/or project management/project engineering experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Residency within Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, or Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the technical team of Project Engineers in the Central Region.
• Distribute workload and identify training needs.
• Escalation point for technical and commercial issues.
• Coordinate with Product lines, Field Sales, and Project Managers on pricing and documentation.
• Promote PMO capabilities to customers and distributors.
• Utilize Vista/SAP, Power BI, BidManager, PM Hub to manage orders.
