Job summary

Eaton's Corporate Sector is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer focused on Capacity & Time Study to join our team. This remote-based role includes up to 75% travel and requires residency within 100 miles of El Paso, TX, or other specified U.S. locations.

The engineer will collect cycle time data, build capacity models, and establish labor standards while coordinating with manufacturing, operations, and engineering to improve productivity and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing operations experience, including internships/co-ops.
• Experience in creating standard work and value-added vs non-value-added cycle time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must meet export control requirements (U.S. person).
• No relocation; remote work allowed within 100 miles of specified cities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and cycle time observations across manufacturing processes.
• Record and validate manual and automated process times using standard industrial engineering methods.
• Analyze collected data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability.
• Support development of standard work and labor benchmarks.
• Assist in building and maintaining capacity models.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure data accuracy and process consistency.
• Prepare reports and visualizations summarizing findings and providing status updates.
