Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer focused on Capacity & Time Study to join our team. This role is remote-based with travel up to 75% and requires residing within 100 miles of Charlotte, Raleigh, Greenville, Spartanburg, or El Paso.

The engineer will support manufacturing operations by collecting cycle time data, analyzing it, and building capacity models to improve productivity and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience creating standard work including value-added / non-value-added cycle time collection/analysis and operator balancing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• U.S. export control eligibility: U.S. person as defined by regulations.
• No relocation offered; remote work allowed within 100 miles of specified locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and cycle time observations across manufacturing processes.
• Record and validate manual and automated process times using standard industrial engineering methods.
• Analyze collected data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability.
• Support development of standard work and labor benchmarks.
• Assist in building and maintaining capacity models.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure data accuracy and process consistency.
• Prepare reports and visualizations summarizing findings and recommendations.
