Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Menu Strategist to join a global catering consultancy. The role focuses on developing market-relevant menu concepts, researching trends, and translating strategy into actionable plans for diverse international clients.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in menu development or culinary strategy, strong data analytics, and excellent virtual communication skills, with a culinary degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

7+ years in menu development, culinary research, or F&B strategy.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret culinary data and market research.
Excellent research, trend forecasting, and remote communication abilities.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative market-relevant menu concepts for catering clients.
Research food trends, ingredient availability, dietary preferences, and competitors globally.
Analyze menu performance, profitability, and sales trends to guide strategy.
Collaborate with client culinary teams to translate goals into actionable menus.
Create comprehensive menu documentation including ingredients, guidelines, and costing.
Advise on sourcing strategies, suppliers, and quality control for menu items.
Develop menu engineering strategies to boost appeal and efficiency.
Present concepts and recommendations to clients via virtual channels.
Stay updated on new technologies and practices in menu development.
