Premera Blue Cross seeks a detail-oriented Membership Specialist II to reconcile accounts receivable for Individual or Group enrollments, address billing issues, and support accurate member records.

You will work with Excel and Access, review contracts, and coach internal/external customers on enrollment rules and policy interpretation while meeting department metrics in a telecommuter role.

Qualificações

• Must have 2 years of accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate’s Degree in accounting/finance/bookkeeping.
• One year prior experience as Membership Analyst I or in a Premera position with reconciliation experience.
• Health or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, resolve and document complex reconciliation discrepancies independently.
• Process refunds, transfers of premiums, reinstatements, and insufficient fund issues.
• Perform enrollment and/or eligibility changes and maintain accurate notes.
