Job summary

Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) seeks a Fully Remote Membership Coordinator to manage the membership system, process transactions and renewals, and support member communications. You will work with staff, boards, chapters, and volunteers to grow engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong organizational and communication skills, and up to 25% annual travel for GEAPS Exchange and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in membership services, association management, customer service, or administrative coordination.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM/AMS systems or databases is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate membership records in the AMS.
• Process new and existing memberships, payments, renewals, transfers, cancellations, and changes.
• Prepare membership reports and forecasts for staff and leadership.
• Assist with annual membership budgets and vendor coordination.
• Provide member service and support for events and chapters.
• Ensure clear communication of policies and program updates.
• Track KPIs related to membership growth and retention.
