Job summary

Glass Art Society is a remote, nonprofit dedicated to connecting glass artists, educators, collectors, and enthusiasts worldwide. This role drives membership and communications across social media, email, and the website, reporting to the Communications Director.

Reporting to the Communications Director, you will manage the membership program from sign-up through renewal, maintain donor relationships, and coordinate communications for GAS conferences and international events.

Qualifications

• Experience growing a membership, audience, or customer base.
• Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
• Experience with a CRM or membership/donor database.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Own the GAS membership program and lead its growth and development.
• Develop and carry out strategies to recruit and retain members globally.
• Track membership trends, retention, and growth goals, and report progress.
• Run member communications that support the membership and donor pipeline.
• Manage weekly website updates and engagement on community platforms.
• Plan and execute email campaigns, surveys, and mailings for members, donors, and GAS Travels.
• Provide on-site support at GAS Conference and IFoG.
