Job summary

Connect Centric, LLC. is seeking a Membership Data SME to lead a strategic data initiative for a national trade association. You will partner with marketing and operations to build member data systems, establish sources of truth, and create a governance roadmap across ERP, CRM instances, and AMS.

You will drive data definitions, lifecycle mapping, and practical, scalable data governance while transferring capability to the client team for ongoing success.

Qualifications

• Significant membership data experience at trade or professional associations.
• Deep knowledge of member journeys, lifecycles, and affiliations.
• Hands-on AMS experience: data cleanup, integration, and migration.
• Proven track record building data dictionaries and sources of truth.
• Ability to turn business needs into clear data requirements for tech teams.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management to drive closure.

Responsibilities

• Lead data strategy and define a comprehensive data dictionary across core domains.
• Define business-focused data requirements translating journeys into specs.
• Establish sources of truth and business rules for key data elements.
• Document member journeys, lifecycle stages, and affiliations.
• Assess current tech ecosystem and identify data gaps and integration needs.
• Lead record matching, cleanup, and reconciliation across systems.
• Facilitate cross-functional agreement on data definitions and ownership.
• Transfer knowledge and establish governance capable of independent sustainment.
