Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Membership Specialist II for a telecommuter role serving the Pacific/Mountain/Central time zones between 7am and 5pm PT. The position focuses on complex reconciliation, enrollment changes, and billing resolutions in a modern healthcare finance environment.

You will analyze accounts receivable, use Excel/Access tools, and coach internal and external customers on contract guidelines while meeting department metrics and ensuring timely, accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting/finance/bookkeeping experience or an Associate’s degree.
• Membership Analyst I experience or related reconciliation background.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve and document complex reconciliation discrepancies.
• Process refunds, transfers of premiums and enrollment changes.
• Maintain accurate enrollment records and notes.
• Educate members, brokers, or groups on billing processes and portal usage.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
