Job summary

Foodsmart is seeking a remote Member Support Agent to handle live inquiries about services, eligibility, appointments, platform access, and food benefits. The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and quick issue resolution while protecting sensitive information.

This part-time position runs about 29 hours per week for up to six months, with time off but no health insurance benefits. You will work with a collaborative team and have opportunities to grow in a remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering support to members or customers.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound member inquiries.
• Document interactions and resolutions for follow-up.
• Navigate FAQs, knowledge bases, and SOPs to resolve questions on the spot.
• Ensure member records are accurate and complete.
• Perform real-time eligibility checks using internal tools.
• Troubleshoot platform and account issues and provide basic tech support.
• Coordinate with dietitians and internal teams as needed.
