Job summary

Educators Rising is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to join its membership team. The role supports current and prospective members by delivering exceptional service, accurate information, and prompt escalation as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, service-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

This remote, part-time position requires availability for at least 20 hours per week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, high-quality customer service to members via phone and email.
• Explain membership benefits, renewals, and processes.
• Resolve member issues and escalate when needed.
• Build relationships with chapter leaders and staff.
• Review and approve Teacher Leader applications.
• Maintain and update member records in the database.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements.
• Assist with shipments and mailing of materials as needed.
• Support office staff to keep operations running smoothly.
