Job summary

Wayspring seeks a Member Outreach Specialist to connect telephonically with individuals who may benefit from services. This full-time, remote position focuses on informing, listening, and building trust to guide members toward available resources and care options.

You will collaborate with care and operations teams, perform consent and documentation tasks, and support enrollment goals while maintaining privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an outreach role.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as substance use disorder.
• Proven strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~5% for onsite training/events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach calls to educate eligible members about Wayspring services.
• Establish initial contact and baseline relationships with potential members.
• Educate on service offerings via pre-enrollment and enrollment discussions.
• Build rapport using active listening and motivational interviewing to identify needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure holistic member support.
• Obtain required paperwork and consent, primarily electronically.
• Maintain documentation per company, federal and state guidelines.
• Conduct telephonic outreach prioritized by the Care Management Platform.
• Facilitate warm introductions and hand-offs to onboarding specialists.
• Provide rotating after-hours and on-call support as required.
• Maintain accountability for enrollment goals as an individual contributor.
